How It Started
It started with two sisters, born in London, raised in Amsterdam and obsessed with clothes for as long as either of us can remember.
We grew up going through old drawers full of fabric, tying scarves into dresses, sketching silhouettes in school notebooks, and altering each other's hand-me-downs until they finally felt right. Not because anyone asked us to. Because we couldn't not do it.
What we kept noticing later as adult women shopping in real stores was the same thing again and again: too trendy, too cheaply made, too "for someone else," too forgettable.
We wanted clothes that actually fit our lives. Pieces that worked for brunch with friends and a quiet evening at home. Quality that wore in instead of out. Styles that felt timeless from the first wear to the hundredth for women and the men in their lives.
So we built it.
